This page is a simple attempt to fill a void in regard to the History of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, which once was the home of several pioneers in research.

I begin with memorializing the accomplishments of my grandfather Dr. John Adriani, a pioneer in the field of Anesthesia.

For now I will place up a few vintage photographs and a few key documents and hope that I am able to build a comprehensive site about the man I knew simply as “grandpere.”
